Commercial and industrial, North Portland
Commercial and Subcontracting
Residential is our primary focus, but we're also equipped to handle projects for commercial and industrial customers, and we take on subcontracting work for other contractors who need an electrician on their crew.
Chapter 01
Residential first, commercial when it's asked for
Most weeks at Bridgetown Electric are residential: panels, rewiring, the day-to-day work of North Portland homes. We're not building a commercial division to compete with a general contractor's regular electrical sub. What we are is a licensed shop that's genuinely capable of stepping onto a commercial or industrial job when one comes up, and we'd rather say that plainly than pretend it's something it isn't.
That honesty is the point. A rough-in on a commercial warehouse, panels staged on carts, a scissor lift up in the racking, isn't a different trade from a residential panel change, it's the same license and the same crew at a bigger scale.

What subcontracting with us actually looks like
Contractors, we're here to support your projects. Our subcontracting services deliver reliable, professional electrical work. We understand the importance of timelines and budgets, working closely with your team to ensure project success.
In practice that's meant running overhead heater circuits on a commercial patio, wiring a finished hallway's conduit and cable tray run, and staging panels for a warehouse rough-in on someone else's schedule, not ours. We show up to the timeline you've already set and fit our part into it.
Chapter 03
Getting a commercial or subcontracting job scoped
We're licensed as electrical contractor 26-887C, bonded and insured, family-owned since 1994 and now in our second generation. Every job, residential or commercial, carries the same 1-year workmanship warranty from date of service.
Call (503) 621-7122 or email office@bridgetownelectric.com and tell us what the project is and where it sits on your timeline. We walk commercial and industrial jobs before we quote them, the same as we do a house, so give us the chance to see the scope before we put a number on it.
